What are the ramifications of riding without the radiator baffle?

Can you put an Interstate baffle on a Tourer? What are the differences?

Yes you can ride without the baffle, all the blower bikes do.  The heat is not significantly greater.  The difference in the I/S is the baffle has wings that extend out into the pods.  I ran this bike without a baffle for a couple of years with a blower, back to carbs now, and am running the std/tour baffle even though I have the pods.  Was thinking of leaving it out, but it was there and I installed it.

Anyone running a blower that might have the baffle and want to sell it?

There is an interstate baffle on Ebay that I may bid on and modify, but if i can get one that doesn't need cutting, I would prefer that.

Thanks
