Our world lost a lot when Duane Allman moved on to the next one.

The sound quality could be better on this but the film footage is worth it.

We rode down to Macon , Georgia a few years ago and stopped to see Duane Allman and Barry Oakley buried side by side and both killed in a motorcycle crash just over a year apart  Sad Barry Oakley's sister was having the graves closed off with a observation deck to keep people from having sex doing drugs and pouring whiskey and beer on the graves...When we was there the city of Macon had a " STOP WORK " order on the deck  Undecided  As you can see from my pictures the graves was covered in plastic.Did you know Duane's Dad was murdered when he was three years old ? It's been on my mind to ride back down to Macon and see if the observation deck started by Oakley's sister was ever allowed to be built.

After leaving Macon we rode down and checked out the Okefenokee Swamp before crossing into Florida and going to see Ronnie Van Zant and other members of Lynyrd Skynyrd in Jacksonville, Florida.
