Sitting in my living room watching the Speed and Velocity channels. At 10:30 AM on Velocity there is "All Girls Garage" on, and I can't help thinking how sexy a woman can be with a tool in her hand.

OK, I'm revealing one of my fantasies; "Wenches with Wrenches".

Yes I've trained my wife to work on our bikes and it does turn me on that she is capable enough to help with motorcycle maintenence.

Commercial over, se ya.

I agree with you on the gals with the ability to work on cars, etc.  All four of my daughters used to "get out and get under" when old dad here was working on something. Guys would stop by to see them and they'd crawl out from under the car/pickup/bike...whatever we had, a little smudge of grease on their nose and a wrench in their greasy hand. You could see the guys eyes light up. My second oldest, a few years later after her husband was killed in a car accident(his own fault), she was living in Dallas and needed brakes on her old beater. She didn't have extra money to have it done for her so she borrowed a Polaroid camera and took pictures of each wheel before pulling the brakes apart. Then went about replacing the shoes, something she had seen me do many times and had been involved a few times. Did it with borrowed tools and a little muscle when it came to attaching the return springs. Worked great for 4-5 yrs. until she sold the car.

For some reason, they all liked the sound the ratchet wrench made while I was using it. Each one at different times told me that when their husbands or sons were doing something and using a ratchet, it immediately took them back to those years growing up and working with me on whatever.
