Yep, handoff in Indiana, May 2004.  Hoosier Daddy took over from me.  Hoosier Daddy (Paul) took the pic.

I was one of the first to sign it. It started in Death Valley, Ca. Had a big group at that ride.

I remember it moving across the U.S.  I missed out riding with the group as it passed near.  That is a good way to keep/get group unification!!

Perhaps its time to do something similar again.

I would think that since that event, there's been many newer members who aren't even aware of this happening.

Bottom panel just about center, where all the scribbles are at.

It was cold that morning in MN.

I took it around Central Iowa and dropped it off in Iowa City for it's journey on to WI.

Hand off in Iowa City to Current Iowa State Rep.

Yup, it was a bit chilly that morning as I recall, upper teens, for the run to meet up with the Texas Gang.

Here's a bike line up shot at Windy's Catfish in southern OK.

Actual handoff took place at Lake Texoma Dam.

The Dam Lineup

The OK Group had dinner in OKC and several spent the night in OKC.

RumbleBee showed his handy work, doing his own seat studs.

The next day we met up with the Arkansas Group on their turf.

We did one again four years later:
http://www.texasredbird.com/Mark/Motorcycling/08-02Valhalla/
(That chronicles the Texas portion of the Valhalla Voyage)

Come to think of it, since we did one in 04, one in 08...
My math says we're closing on overdue.

Well crud!!  Why didn't you notice that sooner??
If memory serves, we had to start in January or Feruary to finish by InZane.  I know the ride to the NM hand-off was friggin' cold!!

I would have put it together... if I had been paying attention to the pattern... dang it!

Terribly sorry.  I had one job, and I failed.  Unfortunately, I didn't know it was my job till just now.  (:
I'll do much better in 2016.  (as long as ya'll don't remember this promise by then...)
