Afternoon all!  Have any of you had any experience with this type of jack?  Wondering about ground and side clearance.  Gettin to old to be crawlin around on the ground these days!

I use one of their floor jacks with an adapter. It works pretty well.  I would imagine you would still need an adapter to use the high lift jack you linked to.

I understand about crawling around on the floor.  Its a lot farther away than it used to be!

see ya,

Ditto use their yellow floor jack. I would love to see a Valk on that jack your considering. I'm not sure how maneuverable the bike and stand would be as a unit.  ???

I would not put a Valk on that stand. The Valk can be kind of hairy on a floor jack nevermind a high-lift.

I had one of these and used it for a couple years, it worked great and lifted the Valk with no problem.  It worked great for working on snow blowers and lawnmowers.  I sold it and got a Kendon cycle lift and love it.

That Valk looks like it's sitting on an ironing board up on that Kendon.    crazy2

I'd be worried having my bike up that high on that lift.  The low HF lift worries me enough.   Shocked

Thanks guys.  I'll see what I get from a search.  It kinda made me think  that jack might be to high for a bike this heavy.  Have to go to the store and check it out.

Can't believe we could get up to a foot of SNOW from now till Tuesday tickedoff
Can't figure out why I stay in this area.  Oh yeah....a job.

On the Kendon the base is the same width and length as most platform lifts but it is about 300lbs lighter and it lifts like scissor up motion rather then a push motion. I like it !! It is plenty stable and not pushing up an extra 200lbs in the air.

I have the exact lift, it is great for my interstate you still need the adapter. It will raise the bike  from 0 to30" and anywhere inbetween, you can let it down as slow as you want.
1 1/2" clearance is all you need.
Don't listen to anyone that does not have one.
It is a great lift, I can sit in chair and work on bike

I have had one of those lifts for several years now and it works great for my Interstate.  I have Cobra foot boards and take the one off on the side the lift is on to get little closer, but it is not required.  As someone said you still have to use the adapter.  I had my bike on the lift for most of the winter two years ago without any straps to secure it while I took the front forks and both wheels off for polishing.  I also use the lift to move heavy stuff like a spare engine around the shop.  I have two other more conventional lifts that I never use anymore except to install engines.

Thanks Wood and Larry.  Good to hear from someone that owns the lift.  That's what I was waiting for.  Guess I'll stop at HF and check it out.  Gotta go get the snowblower out of the shed again.  Angry  Was hoping I wouldn't have to use it!
