Some how I lost all of my text. Anyway short version is I think I had a vapor lock problem. Stuck in traffic 30 minute without moving fan working as needed and no temp light showing. Bike died and after 20 minutes to cool started up and ran fine on the way home and this morning too. Oil and water fine. Any ideas?? TIA

Do you have any non-standard plumbing on your fuel line?

It sounds like vapor lock but I never experienced it until I put the quick disconnect on it.  Then it happened twice, just as you indicated.  Took off the extra plumbing and no more issues.

Sitting that long with the fan running, it's really good your battery didn't drop so far you couldn't restart.

My vote would also be vapor lock, though.

Never had one on the valk but did on my Road Star... and it has a fuel pump.. If thats what you had, you may may be in for a long hot annoying summer. I have heard of a coolent called Ice, I think, but dont know much about it.
