To give you a serious answer: The DFW chapter is part of the Texas chapter, which you have found here. (There isn't a DFW-specific forum, just like there isn't a Houston-specific forum, etc.) DFW meets for dinner once a month, plus riding and wrench parties at various times. I'll let Houdini chime in with the meeting schedule, since I don't want to speak out of turn here.

Yes, there is a very strong DFW group. Seeing this was your first post, welcome.
Please review this forum and look for those topics with DFW in the title. We have frequent wrench parties, rides and the monthly meeting. We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month for dinner from 7:00-9:00PM. The site changes each month. Lately, we have been searching for the metromesses best hamburger as part of our meeting process. Wrench parties are where we gather to work on each others' and our own Valks. We also have many of the specialized tools for use on the Valks that all of us "own". Even a SWR meter and the special cables to tune your CB!
Tell us what city you are in. I'm out of Arlington but we have members from west Fort Worth to Collin County.
Houdini is the president of the DFW Chapter.
Again, Welcome.

Welcome, Big Tex, or should I say Howdy! Got pics of your bike? How 'bout ride destination suggestions. Even if some of us might have been there before, odds are it's been a while and will seem like new. We aren't a bar-hopping group, but rather a ride-to-eat / eat-to-ride group. Mention pie and we are usually IN! Looking forward to meeting and riding with you soon!

...and a big Howdy from me too! Actually is a very active group, and often there are is a posted ride almost every weekend...you won't be able to make all of them As Disco said, if you want to go somewhere in particular, just post the suggestion. It is likely that others will jump in. Welcome to VRCC. What do you ride?

I just did a Google search for "Dallas Ft.Worth Valkyrie club" and came up with this blast from the past - page... http://www.valkyrieriders.com/tx/dfw.htmlRainmaker is our resident historian, but I will mention the bylaws referred by the link on that page have been retired. The other links are still active and up to date, mostly due to Daniel and Scott's diligence. Some of the original members from June of 2003 are still around though some of us are on other bikes now. This is the photo taken by Scott's (camera left) wife, Olinda, at our first ever ride... Jimmy (far camera right) was the first prez. I'm the guy in the red and black leather jacket standing by the 216th Valk built, "Goosebumps". She is living in far east Texas now. Welcome, BigTex!

Hey, Big Tex. Welcome to the group. We're pretty much neighbors if you're in Bedford. We live in Colleyville, but go to church on Central in Bedford and are generally in that neck of the woods a lot. Look forward to riding with you.
Speaking of Bedford, if you need something to do Sunday afternoon, check out my post on the bike show and fun going on this Sunday at the Bedford Boys Ranch. It's been a lot of fun before. Good food, interesting bikes, good music, etc.
We'll be out there with our Valk on Sunday after church for a while. Easy to spot as it's got a big black sidecar hanging off the side of it.

Just curious - where are you getting your Standard from? Is it a local bike, one from a stealer or something else?

I found my bike in Jonesboro, LA from a owner.
Caught the grey dog out and picked it up yesterday,,, first day 320 mile ride. I had no idea how amazing these bikes perform.
