I have a bad wobble between75 and 80 but doesnt do it all the time. Have about 1200 miles on a general altma 205 60  98valkrie tour
any ideas thanks

Sequence and retorque of the rear end? Did you also have tha front wheel off? Sequence and torque? Shock bushings? Proper air pressure? How are your tires balanced? How many miles on your machine? Head bearings? RIDE SAFE.

The first thing I would look for is bad upper shock bushings.  Photo from Rattlebars web site:



If they look like this, replace them with Honda P/N 52489-HN0-671, which are for VTX shocks, but are better quality then Valk bushings and are the same size.  There are other alternatives, which I'm sure others will pipe up with.

Good advice above.

Something else that can cause that is an under-inflated rear tire.

RD, how is him stating what tire he runs an indication of him already deciding it's the tire? Could he be just providing info for help?

I had a car tire bead not seat uniformly causing the same wobble.  Has your tire done this, (on an intermittent basis) since it's installation?
