Going to take a little drive after work and pick up a stock set of exhaust!  cooldude They are for a standard and were remover after only 1,000 miles. Near perfect condition I'm told and the photos looked good. $250 for the set = $10 in gas. cooldude cooldude Smiley

I don't know what's on my bike, haven't seen anything like it. Sounds great sitting at a light or going through the gears as I take off, but most of my riding is day long in the country and I am sick of the noise. I'll post some picks soon and probably be selling the after market ones here first. the headers are a little rusty, not chrome.  ( ceramic coating maybe? ) but not too bad. the rest look good from 5 feet.  Roll Eyes

mine are still 'near' pristine, I cut the piggies, but I kept them stock for the same reason. long rides in quiet countryside, no need to disturb the peace  cooldude

That is indeed a good price, I paid 3 bills +50 bucks shipping for an OEM set that had the piggies cut and some minor rust.  I haven't seen those on CL, and I check daily for Valk stuff. There is a set is Post Falls Id for $250 as well.

OK not perfect but really good shape. one dent  on the end of one tip and some small scratches. Mike didn't know about the VRCC.  hopefully he got set up tonight and will start taking advantage of the community here. Good guy. Navy vet, and will fit in here better than I do. LOL  coolsmiley

PUP I may be interested in the tips, let me check pin wall first too see it they have just one right tip.

I just got a pair of OEMs this week from Classified.  thanks to seller.  $300 with shipping of $60.  Very good condition except for blueing on headers.  smooth transaction.  I had bid on some very fine condition up around 400 on ebay but no go, outbid with 5 seconds left.  I have cobra 6 into 6 that i like but wanted a set of OEM to lay around garage and try out in a bit.

I have a small amt of blueing on the Cobras and tried polish but don't think it did anything.  the OEMs exhaust i just got has a lttle more.  what is the answer? tolerate (not such a big deal and i am in no rush to change).  is there any way to improve or try to rechrome on headers and what does that involve and is it worth it???

 thanks for any info. don

Blue Job chrome polish will take the blue off your pipes.  My headers were so blue they turned purple and gold.  A couple hours of rubbing and they look like new again.
