As of yesterday, I'm back in the wind. Took the scooter for a short 50 mile ride after doing some maintenance to it. I'm going back to work Monday. The leg isn't completely closed up but it's close. I wore my work boots all day yesterday around the home place with no ill affects, the bandage fits inside the boot OK so I'm good to go.

I'll only be a sunny day rider till it's completely healed up but at least I'll be "in the wind". I hadn't ridden since 2/16/12. That's the longest my valk has sat without being ridden since I've owned her and I'm hoping she never has to gather dust that long again. I'm hoping I never have to "gather dust" that long again too.  Grin

Nice to hear you are out and about. Don't over due it, you'll have more quality time out there if you don't.

I agree with olddog1946 to the letter on his advice.

Ya overdo it and you will be in my neck of the woods. 

No wind per Dr's orders this time around.

I know guys, thanks for the advice. Getting in the wind is the easy part. Climbing ladders, crawling into and under machines and keeping the bad stuff out of my leg while I'm doing it will be the hard part. Can't stay off work forever though.  Sad
