The faint sound I hear when I brake, comming from the front brake. in a medimum to heavy application from highway speed down to say 20 it is there and from 20 to 10 it fades out.... the brakes operate fine and are consistent.

The brake lines on the bike from the PO are Russell brand ones and I am going to be changing the brakes and changing the fluid next week once the parts get here from HDL. I hope it goes away with the new brakes install, but I was wondering what the sound could be?

If you have EBC pads on OEM rotors, they're gonna sing. Use OEM pads when you work on it next week.

A croc sounds like high power lines in summer?  Never heard a croc.

Been there done that, same results.  Only good thing was they didn't last very long.  The EBC's were toast in 10,000 miles.
