2 years ago almost got a ticket as well.  2 miles from home a small passing lane  on local hwy. I passed 3 cars going 50-55 mph in slow right lane and I goosed it to around 75 mph past them in left lane real quick before it went back down to 1 lane hwy. again.  Well,  top of the hill a cop came over and met him at the crest of the hill on the hwy. coming at me and I looked at speedo and was 75 mph so in reality about 72 mph in a 55 mph zone.  I kept right on going 70 mph over the hill and saw in the rearview mirror his flashers and brake lights so I knew he was going to turn around and try to catch me.  Well, there were more cars coming behind me so he had to wait to turn around I knew that so kept right on going 70 mph and turned off first road 100 yards down the hill and took some backroads ALL BEFORE he got to the top of the hill to see me turn off.  Never caught me, I was lucky.  That would be my first traffic stop for anything ever in 25+ years of driving.  Gotta control the Valkyrie and just chill out a little more following people going 55 mph in a 55 mph zone but that is very hard to do.  The beast just doesn't like driving that slow being the speed limit.
