Moses Lake, Wa

« on: May 04, 2012, 08:43:19 PM »

Once again I have forgotten how the weather here can be so frickin weird. I headed From Moses Lake, Wa  to visit my Son and house sit for him over the weekend. So off I go , headed west on I90 trying to beat the rain,,,,,FAT CHANCE, lol. Had strong winds from the get go, some gusts bad enough to scare me. If it wasn't for the backrest I might have been blown off a time or two.  Hit some light rain about 90 miles out, then heavier the further up in the mountains I got..Top of Snoqualmie pass, was snowing so hard I could only see about 50 feet ahead of me..I have to say that Federal CT and the Dunlop 404 on the front worked really well, never felt any different than dry pavement.  Gladly there was only about 10 miles of snow then back to the rain which got worse as I went.  Had no problems anywhere along the trip. Got to Marysville and cursed if it didn't start to hail...thankfully, I was just pulling into his driveway. Now tomorrow is supposed to be decent with Sunday and Monday really nice. So I'll have to hit some of these back roads around here. That is, if I warm up by then, lol.
