The beatings will continue until morale improves

I have talked to John  and Joe about maybe hosting a ride in BBQ at my place this summer.  If you bring your own parts, we could even turn it in to a wrench party or something like that.  I have a lift and most of the tools it takes to do most of the stuff.  I will even have a bike lift jack by then as well and we can have 2 bikes up at the same time if needed.  I have a local guy that will do dark side on the cheap before noon on saturdays as well if that is needed.
Kinda thinking of a ride in, if no one needs any work done, we could take a nice ride up around one of the local lakes, put a hundred miles or so on during the day, then come back chill at the farm.  BBQ, build a fire, drink some beer, tell some lies!  I have enough room for several sleepers in the house, 2 pull out couches, 1 extra bed, and a huge front yard for tents if people decided (wisely) that after a few beers and a load of bs they did not need to hit the highway.

We live about 3.5 miles off interstate in the country, on a good black top road.  And we are only about 4 miles from the local zoo.

Give me some feed back and let me know what you guys think.  We are thinking of this as a Poor Boys ride, since not all of us have the coin for a hotel once a month, it would be nice to have a place to crash and not feel like you had to ride home to save money.
