Left turners today

I just came back from a ride.  I was going west on Highway30 Lincoln Highway, four lane with crossovers. Yellow helmet and jacket, high beam, etc.  Unlimited visibility .

 Four cars from the opposing east bound lanes turned left in front of me into a crossroad like crap out of a goose. I saw it coming and had the brakes on and slowed by this time.  The fifth car stopped.  The sixth car, expecting  to be part of the crap stream had to slam on the brakes and stop at right angles to the stopped car.  So one out of the six cars had an aware driver.

There was no traffic light and I had the right of way. There were no trucks or cars behind me to make these arseholes give it a second thought.

Be careful out there.

Wayne, they just were not paying attention.....  Cell phones, makeup, shaving and other things.

You'd think that as far as we are into the riding season the dumb bastards would kind of half  assed watch for us.
