Just ordered a spedometer cable for a 98 valk with 74 k on it.
It snapped on me the other day.  Anyone else have this happen and is it hard to replace?

I'm on my 3rd or 4th one. (I spin em too fast  Wink ) You don't have to buy the whole cable. You can just buy the guts. Very easy to do.

Just disconnect it from the front wheel, pull the old one out and slide the new one in and turn it with your fingers until it slips in place, wouldn't hurt to lubricate it first.  Do the same at the wheel when you re-insert it, and don't tighted the lower bolt too tight, it is plastic and you could break it if not careful.  Hoser

I did not think it would be to difficult.  The inner cable seperated from the outer cable.  So I am just replacing the entire setup.
Thanks everbody..

Gregg.
