The 'Desperados Fun Run'
The Desperados Fun Run is a multi-stop motorcycle ride around greater Fort Worth that features something for everyone. (It's actually a Poker Run, but Texas forbids the use of language relative to or suggesting anything gambling, thus the Marines have to call it a 'Fun Run")
The event kicks off with breakfast at the Marriott Dallas / Fort Worth at Champions Circle (by the Texas Motor Speedway) and returns there at the end of day, where riders have a chance to compete in a game of skill (darts) to win fabulous prizes from our sponsors.
Along the way, riders will stop at 5 to 7 stops to collect a score, which will then be tallied at the conclusion of the event to determine eligibility to compete for prizes.
Registration begins at 9:00am, first bikes out at 10:00am, and back by 3:30pm for refreshments and fun. $25 to ride which includes breakfast and light snacks at the end of the day, 5 stop score card, and a ride t-shirt for the first 300 rid-ers; $10 more for a second t-shirt and $5 for additional stops (no credit cards or checks please).
