Battles are fought, won and lost everyday, the war, though not over has been decided, everyone who has a personal relationship with the Father knows this already. Sometimes in our pain and sorrow we can lose our perspective.

f6John, you're so right. May 2, 2006 I lost a daughter to cancer. Six years later, April 4, 2012 I lost a second daughter to cancer. In the midst of all that pain and sorrow one most definitely can lose their perspective....and their faith if not well grounded. I had a difficult time after losing the first one, but losing a second one last month was almost too much to bear. There were times I felt like shaking my fist at the heavens but just couldn't bring myself to that point. That would have meant I lost more than two daughters. When I decided to let it go, any vestige of depression left with it. Sure, I had my emotional moments, still do....I'm human. But anger and depression....no. I'm alive and well and taking care of business....my wife.

Bashfulbob, I agree with your comment as well. That picture is quite small and I can't see it very well. I assume it's a pic of a crumpled bike. Glad you're still around to enjoy life.

Yes it is. That was our 03 Valk. Crackhead 20 yr old ran a stop sign and we
t-boned her Monte Carlo. Naturally that would seem like a bad thing, but I
can't begin to tell you all the good things that came from it!!!
(Every time I've tried to enlarge one of the pics it gets too blurry)

I agree. Too often we can suffer a minor setback but classify it as a loss. In
the long run we CAN'T lose!! cooldude
