Friday or Saturday?  Looks like weather might be picking up on those days.  We are in Hillsville Va. at a campground and intend to do some riding over the next week or so.  We got here Monday afternoon from Florida and it rained yesterday and today pretty hard, but supposed to be clearing out at least for a few days.
So speak up if you don't mind us meeting up for lunch somewhere around the Va.,W.Va.,Tn.,N.C. area.  Have Valkyrie will travel.

Mapquest says 270 miles each way.  Might be doable,  I'll see what else turns up though a little closer.  We want to ride North on the BRP to some areas that we haven't seen yet too.  Will be in the area probably for another 10 days, so there is plenty of time for that and we are only about 15 miles from the Parkway.

Well heck, you didn't include KY in where you're willing to travel, otherwise I'd tell you about the ride to Smithfield, KY.  Oh well.........................

Your only about 65 miles from us right now....if you're still in the area, give us a shout maybe we can hook up somewhere... cooldude  We're located in Tazewell, Va., that's west of where you are now, we have some excellent riding in this area.

Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.

On a road less traveled.

That might be pushing our daily limit, but I appreciate the offer.  cooldude  We rode the Blue Ridge Parkway today to Roanoke and back down 221 through Floyd.  ALL the roads around this part of Va. are better than ANY in Florida.   Grin
