Add mine ( BADMOJO ) to the list of Valkyrie's with drive-line / bearing issues. Have'nt pulled the rear wheel to see the problems yet but I'm thinkin' left rear bearing or maybe a u-joint. At any rate both will be ordered and replaced soon.

I remember in late 1996 around Nov. My buddy bought the first Valkyrie i had ever seen. I soon bought mine after that. I am on my second bike. But not becaused it broke down. As old as these bikes are, i am amazed at what little money is put in these for break downs.  They just keep on going. Joe if you need a spline for the wheel side, i have an extra one that i would loan you until you can get one or sale it to you for what i have in it. Just let me know.

The offer is very much appreciated  cooldude  I have a extra also I bought a few years ago ( just in case )  but I don't think that's my problem . I'm pretty sure its a left rear bearing .I'm going to go ahead and replace the u-joint while I have it down just for peace of mind if nothing else.  I ride my bikes hard but I also try and take care of them and when I did the maintence on the splines last time they still looked great and that was less than 5,000 miles ago. Again I thank you for the offer its folks like you that make me proud to own a Valkyrie.
