How's that going?  Would you happen to know how many have signed up for the Florida shirts?  I've ordered two, but if that's not enough to get them to 24, I'd gladly order a couple more.

I could see ( 8 ) maybe ( 9 ) tops from Tennessee that would order a shirt.
Post here if you would buy a VRCC Tennessee t-shirt knowing up front you pay for it and money is refunded if the magic ( 24 ) is not met.Four down 20 to go.

I'm not sure I understand the refund policy Joe. I have two other Tennessee Valk Riders willing to order but I need to know what you mean by the refund. I understand if we get to the point of having F6rider store work up the layout for the shirt then there will be a cost involved. Can we see how many are willing to say they would order and then contact Oz?

I believe at last count we had way over 24 prepaid orders. Most of us ordered several. The logo was already made from years past and the art work was available. One of our members, TexaninSouthFlorida, got the ball rolling and other members contacted Oz at F6 and www.catspecialties.com who is actually making the shirts I believe. The logo was on our Florida page and that is what got Tex asking about it. So we are assuming that the shirts are being made as we speak. They were available in Long and Short sleeve and even a Henley. I'm sure that some one up there in beautiful East Tennessee could create a logo for you guys. I, for sure, would love to have a couple shirts from up there. Maybe we could start a Shirt from each state thing going, collect them instead of motorcycle shops like the Harley guys like to do. Each state would come up with their own logo and have shirts made. I'm sure artwork is expensive to set up but I have no idea about that part of it.

I guess we should let oZ in on this and see if he's willing to design something for us....Mike ( hubcap ) and I was talking one day and thought it would be cool to have a VRCC Confederate States t-shirt that would cover several of states down in God's Country and the ( 24 ) would be much easier to meet.Mike and I was thinking something that showed the CSA States here's a few things that could be worked into a shirt.

You know, even tho Maryland had a lot of northern sympathizers on the western banks, us in southern md and on the eastern shore never had any part of that. A lot of the Lexington park, st marys city, hughesville, laplata boys(and just as many if not more from the shore) fought for the south. Kind of a shame Maryland is excluded from that pic, Joe, even tho we are officially below the mason Dixon line......

I just did a google and could'nt find any pictures that showed Maryland as part of the CSA  Undecided  History is wrote by those with the most bullets. Mike ( hubcap ) was going to have us some shirts made up with a Confederate theme but I guess he never got around to it  Sad  we even had the blessing of two of the VRCC owners as long as they scored a shirt  Cool  If oZ don't bite on this thread I'll see about getting some made local. I know Ron ( Wolf ) up in WV has a friend that does screen printing.

I worked this up, and was moving on it, when I found out that The League Of The South uses this
same logo... maybe that doesn't matter, I could ask them one way or the other...

Anyhow... I worked this up as an alternative, but wasn't sure what to think of it... what do
y'all think?

In A Short History Of The Confederacy, Jefferson Davis lists Maryland as a Southern State  cooldude

When Robert E. Lee brought the Army there, their reception was mixed. The Yankees occupied
Maryland. If it was going to be a Confederate State, the Confederates would have had to
take it back, and occupy it themselves... a true border state...

There's no deadline for the Confederate Chapter shirt... I guess there's probably a deadline for the Hillbilly Ride shirt...

I just now sent out feelers to get an idea whether or not the League of the South will get bent out of shape if we use the logo... I
didn't copy it from them, it is a pretty obvious idea, one of those things that can be stumbled to independently...

Unless LOS pitches a big fit (and then only if they are polite about it  coolsmiley ) I think we should move on
it, since so many people are interested.

Let the F6 Rider Store do it if they want, if not, I can get a local shirt maker to do it.

If I get them made, mine is going to be a duluth plumber-safe shirt... http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-shirts/mens-t-shirts/76020.aspx
When I made the South Carolina Chapter shirts, the printer supplied the shirts, they used Gildan, I'm sure most of you have seen
them, they are fine...

When I made the Ten  South Carolina Chapter shirts, I gave them away to other South Carolina Valkyrie Riders (plus Big Al when he wasn't feeling well,
and Smokin' Joe when he  unleashed a guilt-trip on me  Roll Eyes )... so this isn't a money-making idea on my part, I just want the shirts to be out there, and to have
one.

I hope there's enough people who want one that F6 makes them...

I'm glad there is no deadline. The Gildan shirts are great too and I've wore them with 2 MC clubs and wearing one right now. We have someone local that does ours that puts out quality work and the prices are cheaper than most. I think he has to have a min. of 20. I can check the prices if you want. This printer will also supply the shirts (Gildan) or we can bring the shirts.

That was nice of ya to give the SC shirts away- dang I'm always late! Grin  If you decide to go with the LOS, I hope they don't try to sue! ...but i wouldn't think so. Undecided

Yes I'm in for the CSA Valkyrie shirts. BTW, What time does it start in Laurens square tomorrow?

I'll get a couple of the shirts too in they will go to print.  And an FYI, Maryland had a critical role in the civil war....to prevent succession fron the union, Lincoln imposed military law and it just pissed us off. 3major battles were fought in md to relieve ourselves on the military invasion. At south mountain, and antietam in 1862 and monocacy in 1864. We had no support from any of the other state, the south could not take md back because of the size of union presence in the state. But a lot of boys went to war for Virginia since there was mixed feelings about being a Marylander.  And marylanders never took any crap neither. We were the first to separate ourselves from English rule, had our own tea party by burning a tea vessel( forgot the name of the boat) in the Annapolis harbor before it was ever thought of in Boston. And we were the first colony to refuse to pay English taxes so maybe you can say we started the whole revolutionary war? Lol I'd say so.. Any way, I'll take 2 of those shirts in 2xl if they go to print.
