Well it was in the high 70's and no chance of rain

Did the honey do chores and saddled up to ride up the goat trail and Perkins drive was open

A friend I met up there told me there was texas BBQ up where 301 hits route 9 just west of Cold Spring so seeing as how I was hungry anyway I made a trip post hasty  After all having been to Hot Glues I am always jonesing for Q now

As my friend in Angola says  Boy Howdy that was some moist texas BBQ had the pulled brisket and pulled chicken homemade garlic mashed potatoes and creamy cole slaw

I took it to go and when I had started eating I scarfed those potatoes in a few seconds then I remembered that I forgot to take a food pic so here is one minus about half the chicken and beef and all of the potatoes and half the cole slaw

I will have to go back for more one day

Hey Gman you gonna need a ride to Mahopac to get your bike?

We can take a 20 mile detour for Q

by the way if you ride 9 south it seems the road is growing potholes, big ones so be careful as there are lots of shadows from all the trees, dont want to lose control in one of those bends if a truck is going the other way.
