I've noticed that a few valk riders have taken interest in the m109. I have also taken notice of these bikes since they came out. for a v-twin, they seem pretty sweet. Anybody have any idea why us 6 cylinder king of heavyweight cruiser owners like the m109s' so much? from the few owners of the 109 I've talked to, they either love them or hate them.

The M109 has a lot of brute power. It's easy on the eyes, too.
The down side for me is that it's a v-twin. I just can't see me getting another one. I'll take a Honda or BMW 6-cyclinder any day.

Saw a white one yesterday up close. It is a sweet looking machine for a V-twin. And very fast.

I like the 109 too.....for a twin. IF I were looking for a twinkie it would be a 109 or a Victory.

I like the way they look, I like the power. I am not impressed with their reliability reports. And it's still a big vibrator.

I like the look of the M109, as long as it's someone else's ride. sat on one at the dealer and the show and you are very streeeetched out on that bike. The foot controls are nice and forward, but so are the bars so it's quite a reach, and i'm 6'4". Your neck and shoulders can't feel that good after a half hour of reaching that much.

i almost bought one back in 05. It was a burnt orange color and just looked tough. I talked myself out of it after reading the reviews on it but still think they are a very cool looking bike. I would still like to have one just for a bike back and fourth to work. Scratch that, i'll just buy another valk. Standard or tourer.

why does everyone say that? It's just a little paint and chrome. But thank you. it's getting a bath this week. noticed i have a bunch of road grime on the under side that needs some attention. But thank you.

Is a 109 really a twin or a 4 cylinder that looks like a twin?

We like the looks and the power of the M109. As observed by G-Man, the cockpit is very stretched out and hardly suitable for a little squirt like us without some serious modifications.
We trudge on.
