I watched a few of those episodes.     Looks like they did have a large time on the show.

Choot 'im! Choot 'im lizabet!

Yeah, I like the show too. Those people are borderline crazy. I remember seeing the brothers out shooting squirrels...such good shots, the squirrels were falling almost like rain.

I also kinda get a kick out of that "Hill billy handfishin". THAT crap is crazy. I would never stick my hand into a hole with God knows what inside it. Never.

My dad always watches that show to see if there's anyone on that he knows.

I remember when the show came out that Moonshine said she had some relatives on the show.  Is this guy one of them?

Those boys lived a simple life... and seemed to be pretty happy despite (or because of?) their lack of women in their lives.

Sad deal there... but it goes to show... we NEVER know when it's gonna hit us.  Undecided

He lived a simple life but seemed happy all the time always looking at his glass 1/2 full.  Makes you think of all the wordly possessions some people have and are not happy at all what really matters in life?  Cry

Not too many people in America could live like those 2 fellows have done on the swampland.  I know I couldn't.  Feel sorry for his close brother hope he hangs tough.  cooldude

I was amazed he was only 47.  They both look much older probably because of the beard and hard way of life.

I was surprised to find out he would have been 49 Friday. I'd have guessed mid-sixties.
Seemed like a nice enough guy. I feel for his brother. He's going to be lost.
