Looked at a Harley nightrod. I think I drooled. My Valk didn't see. Hope she doesn't find out.

Then whatever you do don't ride one. They're uh... pretty nice.

I have a Harley Street Glide along with my Interstate.
I have to tell you that everytime I ride my Harley for a while
the smoothness of the Valk always reminds me why I have it.

You're not a traitor, you're a motorcyclist. If Moto Guzzi and Honda Valkyries all went away tomorrow, I'd certainly be on another ride before nightfall.

All the best,

My buddy just bought a 2012 Street Glide a week or so ago.  And I really like it...so much so that I've been reading up on all of the batwing threads and getting ready to put a street glide fairing on my Valk.

My best friend stopped by the other day. He told me that a neighbor has had some problems lately. This neighbor has my buddy work on various vehicles for him and does him favors in return.

The neighbor bought a Vrod a while back. The "slower" one with the non-inverted forks. Put 77, yes, 77 miles on it and then his home burned down. Then he had some medical issues pop up. As a result the HD has been sitting.

My buddy put a battery in it, and as a thank you the neighbor told him to take it out when he wants and enjoy it. It now has 600 miles and is going into the dealer for the breakin service.

My buddy has been by my place a couple times with it wanting to ride. I haven't been home. Probably a good thing....I might get my ass handed to me (135hp vs. 100hp). I also might enjoy riding it.

Then again, maybe not.
