At least the reporter acknowledged that the "cruisers" were being good.

Shocked 153! On a winding mountain road?
You'd think the herd would be thinning a little faster.

I flat don't believe them on the road they were showing.

Perfect, full braking, it would take 1000 feet to stop (not splat into the back of the car that was in front of him)

What's the matter Dan?  You don't trust the news media with accurate and honest reporting?

Wouldn't even consider getting on a "sport bike".   Riding on St Route 460 in KY today (a curvy/hilly two lane road) I was doing the speed limit, 55 mph.  Saw two headlights coming up behind me as I was  approaching a curve.   They were coming fast, very fast.   Going through the curve with double yellow center line, they blew by me like I was going the other direction.  I couldn't see around the curve, so I know they couldn't from behind me.  Not real sure what kind of bikes they were, they went by that fast.

Nope, I didn't catch up with a flaming pile of debris, they at least made it to a turn off and moved on but, they didn't just endanger themselves while passing me, they put any oncoming car and myself in danger.   I don't want to say it was two kids but, I will say it was two immature jerks that obviously care more about their thrills than me getting to my destination safely.

Won't suggest I wouldn't stop to help if I saw them laying in a ditch but, I definately wouldn't feel much sympathy for them.   I don't hate sport bikes, they aren't for me but, that's OK.  I hate stupid people whether on two or four wheels.  End of Rant.

Those roads are 45 minutes from my home. I've been riding them since 2002.

There is no way a bike could hit 153 and then slow down on the section of road they were shooting radar.

psssst

The video is from the fall of 2008.
