A bad map and a long ride in Northern New Mexico!

I am still trying to get things ironed out to go.   If we do, we may leave Thursday evening and stay with some friends/family in Amarillo/Fritch.  Otherwise, we leave Friday morning and haul a$$.

Just curious if anyone is passing up and along 287 (Wichita Falls) or 281 (Jacksboro), and if so, when?   Might share wind with you if so...

Lyn-Del, Wizard and I are meeting up with Magoo (from LA) on Wed morning and heading out of Houston up 290 to the Austin area, picking up 183 up to I-40 area, heading west to pick up 84 through Lubbock on up connecting with I-25 a little south of Las Vegas.

Probably depending on the heat factor spending two nights on the road and rolling into Las Vegas by mid-day on Friday.

If you take 287 up to I-40 around Amarillo, we might possible meet up around Santa Rosa.  If you wish, my cell number is 281.46seven.39zero9.

When you are sure of your plans, give me a call on Wednesday or Thursday evening and we will see if it might work out.

Look forward to seeing you.

I wish I could, but it's not in the cards for me this year.

>>Early Bird.  Will holler at you after I get things firmed up.    You guys have quite a haul from that part of Texas.

I was hoping to leave here Thursday evening, but that is already getting sketchy.  Things can be slow for a month, and when I start planning something, I get snowed under.  I have a few customers with the right now attitude!...

I am thinking I will pull this off though..
