A good clear delivery of the spoken word is beautiful.  Cheesy

I don't trust the video. Can't see who is supposed to be speaking.

you know, i don't want to sound racist, but why do black people think that because they're black they've got to stick up for what ever another black person has to say or do?  JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE BLACK!!  that's like me saying everything an italian does is okay and right, and that Al Capone (may he rot in hell) and Musolini (who was actually an excellent leader until he was forced to chose hitlers side) were both saints.....

it sounds to me that the teacher was a black teacher, and the student was white.  so of course the student is the minority and should learn to shut up, right?  think of it this way, if it were a white teacher and a black student, that teacher would be walked out of the classroom and be brought up against Al Sharpton and Jessie Jacksons court of hate were that cracker would be found guilty!!  and the rest of the media would post his home address along with the name of his family members, right down to his pet dog rover!!

we all have to be thankful for micro-recorders!  i've recorded thing that i keep tucked away just waiting to be used to "black"mail the speaker....  i'll bet he gets a passing grade.....

I can't believe that the students use of, and the teachers then quote of "Everyone talked crap about Bush". went unchallenged.

I agree that the teacher was out of line... but the classroom wasn't necessarily the place for an argument with the teacher like that either.

I find the use of profanity in the classroom on both the students and the teachers part unacceptable.

Chris I'm glad to hear it - the teacher set a bad example.

Alph, Most blacks feel they have to protect an elect their own no matter what. This teacher was sticking up for her brother!

When Obama was running, the media asked blacks why they are voting for him and the answer was "because he be black" or "he's a brother", and some said "because we never had a black president" and the majority  did not have a clue what or where he stood on the issues! That is sad. I am not a racist by any means and would not vote for anyone just because of skin color.  Cool

I'd have to say that their a very few teachers that are worth more than minimum wage,...and I may be quite generous on that statement.

It's because of that attitude that you "get what you pay for" in terms of education. People wonder why the kids are so effed up.

Yeah when I was in school we had a both a little fear and respect for the princpal, but most kids today have no clue what that means. In elementry school we even got paddled...now the teach would go to PRISON!  Grin

I think it starts at home but it certainly is exsaserbated by certain teachers and schools that don't do what's right for the kids. I thought lotteries were going ot fix the income gaps for state budgets in education?

The teacher is now suspended (and there's no rebuttal from the school saying otherwise lol)

The classroom isn't a place for a teacher like that period.  Teachers are supposed to be neutral, not biased, and informed on what they teach.  This "teacher" was none of those.

Cool

A good friend of mine was in line at the post office before the 2008 elections, and in front of him in line was a black man with his young (~5yrs old) son.  The son asked the dad "Dad, why are we at the post office?"  The dad answered "Because I am registering to vote."  Son "Why do you need to vote?" Dad (and I quote) "To keep that cracker out of office."   Shocked

It does start at home, and so many parents are too preoccupied nowadays with everything else except their own children.  I have an ex-fiance who has (or had, when we split up because she cheated on me, she left them with their father so she could move out of state with the new "winner") 2 sons.  She would send them to school and when they got home, that's where the teaching stopped.  Her and I got into arguments about them running around the house like wild animals and not listening to either of us and not doing their chores or homework and her response was "it's the school's job to teach them to be adults, not mine."  Roll Eyes

I do have to wonder what legal troubles this student faces though for recording someone's voice without their permission.  I know in PA, both parties have to consent to voice recording.
