New Haven, Indiana

« on: May 23, 2012, 07:18:58 AM »

The news is in.  New Haven ended up in third place.

I talked to the mayor this morning.  Evidently, the Indy committee that determines who wins use their own criteria .  Voting is part of it but not all.  The weighting of the criteria is up to the committee and they alone know how they are going to award.

The mayor said that New Haven probably won't participate next year.  We gave it a good shot this year.

Thanks very much for all here who voted.   I had thought that voting would determine who won, evidently not the case.
