Why we are recognising this day and Remember.

Our Freedoms were bought with a price, a terrible price and not to be taken lightly.

Each Generation must fight to never give them away to any politician.

They will try to snare you into thier Health Care Plans or Give Aways.

Don't let them.

Agree, my then 7th grade girl last year went on a middle school class trip thru school to Washington DC and visited all the main sites including Arlington National Cemetery.  She still even tonight commented while watching the news on Memorial Day on the sadness she felt and in awe of all the 100's of thousands of lives lost to gain our current freedom we take for granted now.  She also commented on the tomb of the unknown soldier and how awe struck they all were realizing what freedom is all about.

Freedom wasn't then nor is it now nor will it ever be FREE. Our service men and women signed a contract that may well cost them their lives. Let us NEVER FORGET what it cost us as a Nation to get this freedom we take so much for granted. To all who have served to all who are serving and to those who will serve-TANK YOU for your selfless sacrifice.

I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.

Sometime during the course of the BarBQ's and family outings, be sure and take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by our servicemen that have made the day possible.

A promise made and one being remembered.  This is why we scour the earth searching for our fallen.  Lest we forget.

We must remember those who have sacrificed themselves for our freedom.  I am very lucky to have neighbors who make freedom #1.
God Bless America.

Was raised by one that went 3 times
to fight for us.[WW2, Korea, Viet Nam]
It took years to understand what it all ment.
It hurt when he was gone as a very young boy and
the he missed me getting through High School.
Years later He gave me the talk, not about sex, but explained
everything that I had and what it should mean to me.
