Glad you're home safe.   cooldude   Your report has me looking really hard at the 2013 calendar...

I am planning, pending management approval, the New Mexico trip for next Memorial Day as I will probably be knocked out of Inzane due to business again.

At the moment, I think it best to wait a while before posting any additional rides to my calendar.  The keeper of the kitchen passes is happy right now but bringing up another trip so soon after this last one would not be the best plan.

Took me 33 years to figure that one out.

Hey Mark, just wanted to say thanks for helping to make our first ever ride(s) so enjoyable and successful.  We also enjoyed teaming up with you to the coast.  We returned Thursday evening with 2,613 additional miles on the odometer which we accumulated in 8 days.  We also enjoyed reading your journal.  Drive safely and hope to meet up again.  Thanks, Mitch & Laura

It was great meeting you two and I never would have guessed it to be any type of first ride.  You two had it down - Mitch was carving the turns and Laura was a perfect passenger, not influencing the turns by moving or any of the other things you see passengers often do.  Then, you get on the superslab and just go - 150 miles between stops. Just wow!

Hope to meet up and ride with you again in the future. It was my pleasure to ride with you and would do so again at any time.

By the way, Mitch, your handle should be "Mechanic" or "ToolMan" IMHO.

30 minutes to swap out an alternator has to be a world record.  I'm sure Wendell ("PushStart") would agree.
