Author Topic: Funny / (Hard) Way to fine a Loose Engine Hanger Bolt  (Read 974 times)

1) Buy redeyes vacuum cap kit of 3 for about $2 and install for a 15 minute project.
2) Notice cracked vacuum lines on 2 middle cylinders, pull tank and air box to change vac lines
3) Notice gas lines could use changing too, change them while opened up.
4) While putting gas line back to the petcock and fastening the fuel valve handle:

5) Notice a loose engine hanger bolt that took maybe 4 turns of wrench to close a 1/4" gap and:
   Be glad you took the time to give the lady a good looking over!
