I'm heading out tomorrow for SD, Minn, Mich., and maybe Pa. Wish me luck and do some ceremonies to banish the gremlins. Grin

Drink a pint of non-alcoholic something at every stop.  Dehydration is your enemy on the long trips.

Be safe and post often.

i just heard from greg and his computer is dead so he asked me to post for him.
he made it to topeka, ks and did 700 miles in 14 hrs.  he's having trouble with his bike and he's 99% sure it's the fuel filter.  he'll change it out when he gets to sd.

Not really in the direction that he is heading....but garage, tools, lift, and stuff...

 If needed in SE Indiana.

Had fuel issues on the way home from GOTF. Turned out to be a nasty screen in the tank.

He's sensitive about that word "captured" so be careful.  Must be something from his past...... police

What a riot. Made it to TP & Nancy's. Bike ran like a dream. Best mileage ever and beautiful weather. Fuel solution posted in Tech. Finally passed the mc written test in Sioux Falls. That's another story which you may not hear about.
More later.

Have a great trip, Greg.

I have not been on much.  On the road myself with the wife in the cage and currently in California going through the last of parents estate stuff.

Probably heading out tomorrow.  Initial plans are about 2 weeks on the road returning (we shall see how that turns out).  When we left Texas A/C went out about 200 miles from home.  A little tough on wife.  Hit 115 in Indio, CA on way out.

Hopefully A/C is well now after about $1,000 of fixing.  If it stops in the next few days, we will probably cut travel short and head for home.

Oops, sorry for the thread hijack, Greg, was unintentional.

Be safe and enjoy the road trip.

TP & I are leaving today to go roll around northern Minn. for a coupla days. So far, the weather's been great. Their complaining about the heat... I'm just smiling Grin
Also, got my computer fixed by the Geek Squad... for no charge! cooldude so now I can post more often.
nJOYED a few of the local brewskis. Good stuff! But they come in a bottle so I don't know how many I can fit in my saddle HG Grin
Later

Arrgghh! It just started raining Angry Plans may have to change. TP get home pretty soon. See what he has to say. I'm all for staying here and enjoying some more of Nancy's cooking Smiley  The word is in, we're leaving rain or shine!!
