For those who remember (and those that like muscle cars), the 2nd Forest Lane Reunion is this Saturday, June 9th (http://www.cruiseforest.com).  For those that don't know, Forest was the hangout for decades in Dallas, and the turn out last year was way more than expected.  LOTS of cool cars, and I am sure the crowd would enjoy seeing a Valk or two....

RM,

Timbo left me a message that he is leaving his house around 6:30 so that means he will be getting to Forest Lane around 7pm.  I see a Sonic on Forest Lane we can meet.  Do you want to meet there around 7?  Let me know.

Official times have the event starting at 7pm.  Sonic sounds like a good meeting spot if we can find parking.

Why don't we meet at 6:00 and avoid the rush?  Eat a burger until the event starts?

Hope you can make ChristBiker....been a LONG time since we saw you!  We're meeting at 6:00pm, in case anyone else is moved to join us:
Sonic
3555 Forest Lane
Dallas, TX 75234

There are a couple of videos that folks posted last year on YouTube...look for Forest Lane Reunion.  It was a blast (but we used to hang out around there in the day, so it was a trip on memory lane for me)

That's OK, Tim.  I plan on bringing my own!  I'll be caging it to keep the cooler less obvious.  I'll look for you guys at Sonic.  I'm hoping to park across Forest from Tommy's Carwash.  Look for a red '64 MGB.

It was a nice way to spend the evening.  Good to see Jackie, Tim, Chuck and his clan plus the 2 Daves.

The cars out there were incredible.

Disco, when I was leaving, I walked by the MGB and you had a lot of admirers, one who said "maybe our key will work in it - they only had one key for the MGs". Hope it was there when you got back!

Great pics, Chuck!

It was a great way to spend an(other) evening/night on Forest Lane.  Oh the hours and miles logged there starting in about '73...   At least I didn't see the sun come up this time...  Roll Eyes

Yes, RainMaker, the B was still there and got me home safely.  Given all the other hardware on display, I was surprised at how much attention it received.

Imagine my surprise while watching my new favorite TV show 'Fast N' Loud' and I see them buy, restore and sell this car;

here's the first part of the show where they begin restoring it.  BTW - it sold for 21K
