Got a nice shiny new luggage rack for the fat broad.  Doesn't look like the screws currently holding the sissy bar on are long enough to add the rack.  None included with the new rack.  Is this a standard size I can find locally, hopefully in chrome, or do I need to order them from somewhere?

run down to your local ace hardware. they usually have a pretty good selection of chromed bolts/nuts in sae and metric.

If it is a OEM rack and a OEM sissy bar and OEM bolts, I bet it fits... the rack mount
point is thin, and the OEM sissy bar is threaded... I had to get longer bolts for when
my solo bar is mounted,  but use the original bolts for when the sissy-bar/rack is
mounted...

Ace is the place! Just put a OEM rack on my 98 STD and the bolts needed to be about 3-4 mm longer than those bolting just the sissy bar to the uprights off the fender rails.

I believe everything is oem so I'll try the current bolts.  If not...Ace is the place!
