Hi, I'm Fran Walter from Ault, CO who just bought my black 1998 Valkrie Tourer May 9, 2009. I e-mailed "Misfit" for general information and he, along with "Lil Bit" and "Greendragon" and wife rode their Valkyries to the man selling my Tourer's home to help check it out. What a "GREAT" bunch of people to do this.  They helped make the purchase of this sweetheart truley an enjoyable experience for me. Thanks again!!  |

Hey Fran! Congratulations on your purchase!! I bought mine last year, I was originally looking at a goldwing, now when I see a wing I just smile and thank god I bought my valk! I remember 13 years ago I saw a billboard with a Valkyrie on it and I said to my self "why in the hell would anyone want a cycle with a car engine on it?" (At the time I had a toyota with a 1.6 liter engine). Now I know better! I’ve ridden a lot of different bikes but this one is seriously the best (my opinion).

Welcome aboard Fran. Glad to see posting. Just a word of caution. If you hang around these folks on the board or attend an event be prepared to add a ton of life long friends(family) to your life. I have met some of the best people in the world right here in the VRCC. Just remember. If you are lucky enough to ride a Valkyrie, you are lucky enough. |
