unless you live each example, you cannot appreciate the freedom you have.  the old saying; "you don't miss your loved ones until they're gone" works in this situation.  not until we lose our freedoms will we appreciate them. 

as much as people complain about illegal immigrants (yep, i'm guilty of it) people have to realize that they're leaving a worse situation to take advantage of what we do not appreciate.
