Hickory nc

« on: June 10, 2012, 01:18:55 PM »

Made a early run to Wilkesboro nc then back to Hickory via hwy 268 through Lenoir.

Got behind a wing with a trailer on hwy 268 letting it roll. 120 mile's of pure stress

relief. Mountain wind purifies the soul. The picture is back in Hickory nc. The railroad

in the background is the caldwell county railroad now It used to be the c&nw that

ran from Chester sc to Mortimer nc to ritter lumber company. Amazing how the rail ran

through brown mountain by wilson's creek. Smiley

Beautiful riding area!!!   Its been a few years since I was thru there.  My trips to NC now are limited to I-40.    I may sneak back out there on the bike one of these days.

Ride Safe,
