I believe I have read in older posts that buying a used Ultimate is not a good idea because it conforms to an individuals @ss and will not be comfortable for somebody else.  Is this true?  I'd like to have one but don't really want to spend that much for one if I dont need to.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I weigh around 240#, average butt.......

I don't have an answer for you but, I have an opinion.  I'm gonna have to see some proof before I believe such a story.   If it is in fact true, I want to know how many miles the previous ass sat in it so as to develop such a conformation.  I can see one breaking down, all materials do eventually but, that's gonna take a bunch of miles and most likely some weather related factors for that to happen.  Just my opinion.

Mileage is really dependent on the size of the individual that rode on the seat previously.  If they're 150 lbs and you're larger and heavier than you might get away with a used saddle.  If they're 300+ lbs, you might not.

I purchased and rode a used Ultimate Big Boy for 4 years.  The previous owner was close to my size @270 lbs, so that may have made a difference.  No issues, and it was a great seat.  Just this past inzane, I purchased another used Big Boy.  It was only a year old, and the reason for buying it was that I had a buyer for my seat, and the newer one had the 'folding' backrest, where the older one was the non-folding 'post' style.  Money well spent, both times  cooldude

Yeah, things could go bad in a hurry if the original owner keeps wondering why you keep checking out his a--.

I am 330 lbs and I have not noticed any "a$$ groves" in my Ultimate seats that I have owned for over 4 years. I am not sure about the milage on the seats. I ride the bike every chance I get. cooldude

I have purchased three Utimate seats used, and all of them were perfectly fine. I think Corbins are a  different story...

I have had my Lowrider for about 7 or 8 years and have had no issues with it. In the past threads where people have had issues with the seat, I don't think the seat was the problem, I think it was due to their lard a$$. You see they expect the Ultimate to to bucket their a$$ like their Lazy Boy would.  I know that Ultimate is good but it is not that good.  People have to push themselves away from the table and start moving. I know, I am a lard a$$, I am 240lbs. So bottom line is the seat is not the problem.
