When was the last time YOU worked for a poor person? You know the one who rides a Honda 250. When you pull up on your Valk? The middle class isn't fading because of the rich, it's the unions. The same people who buy NEW Hondas and Harleys EVERY YEAR, even though they are retired. YOU are paying for them to sit around after working 20 years and you have to work till your 65, then get a part time job to pay for your gas to run your 15 year old Valk. So you are working to keep your neighbors enjoy their retirement. The middle class pay hasn't gotten worse. When I worked as a teenager, I was paid $2.75/hr. Now teens are working for minimum wage, and adjusted for inflation, they are making the same as I did. And I was riding a 1949 Harley Duo Glide, which I paid $100.00 for. Now the teens today are riding a crotch. Who is in charge of this mess? Who has been in charge of the government? Who George Soros? Who wants tis country to be like Europe? Who want you to ride a 250 Honda and rely on the government for your existence?

the way I see it,the rich own the companies that send american jobs overseas to make sure they stay rich, and you probably would too. There are alot more middle class families struggling than ten years ago,not families looking for hand outs, but hard working people.Wage increases have not kept up with inflation. And if your making union bosses rich, thats your own fault.

like John Kerry's wife? Mrs. Kerry/Heinz has 19 factories 16 of which are over the border. what inflation? we are being told there is no inflation? (info from a few elections ago) we still manufacture MORE then China and Germany. we just don't make the small stuff here anymore. this may seem crazy but if we could drop the amount of spending the government is doing and ACTUALLY cut it back to 12% of GDP the middle class would thrive again. more countries would invest here and we could be a world power again. take a look at history, what brought about the roaring 20's?

would you keep your company here if you were going to go out of business? would you keep your company here if taxes, labor and healthcare costs were going to run you out of business by 2014? would you keep your business going just on rainbows and puppy dogs? there is a dirty word called profit, every company needs this or it folds. period. there is no relief from the left on the right, if jobs go overseas it's those fat cat right wing business owners (even though MANY on the left employ the same tactics) and if you give a business incentive to stay in the states well your just giving your rich buddy a tax break. how about you give us a break?

There is a fatal flaw in Carvelle’s reasoning.
If we were a country of subjects, subjects of our government, he’d be right. We’d be mired in this thing called the “Middle Class” and we would be at the mercy of our government and the collusions of them and the evil rich corporate tycoons.
But we’re not.
We’re a nation of Free people. We need not be “Middle Class” if we are willing to exercise that Freedom.
I don’t support the rich. I support those who work hard, who are innovative, who are active and involved in their community, who are industrious, and are go-getters.
Just so happens these kind of folk get wealthy.
They are the kind of folks who would hire me. These are the folks who would create the work and the wealth for our communities.
I wish them every success and loathe the idea of saddling them with excessive burdens of regulations and taxation.
If we were subjects of our government, in this “Class” system, then hell yeah, tax the hell out of the upper class who are wealthy by virtue of the government..
But we’re not subjects. Those wealthy folks, by and large, are just Free People who got that way from hard work, innovation, being industrious, and making sacrifices and right choices early on.
We should champion that, not denigrate it.
