Ya sure? I'm only 5'8" with a 27" inseam. Can't flatfoot it but that's over rated anyway. Almost every bike I've owned has been tall for me. I have learned to come to a stop with the left foot down & the right stays on the brake. Been doin' it that way for many yrs. Started riding at 14, I'm 67 now.

Well, just did a 875 mile day on the 650 and it ran like a sewing machine.  Need to look at a replacement seat though.  2600 mile 4 day weekend - not a problem on superslab.

Yeah, the stock seat is not that great.  Six2Go sold me his Sergeant seat and it's much better but if I were to ride long distances (which I'm not), a Russell seat would be good.

Since I no longer ride a Valk ( too heavy for me), my Vstrom works and I make NO excuses for it.  A BIG plus is the Highway pegs that I installed, low enough and wide enough to be useful without trying to bend my legs around the wide Tupperwear tank cover to reach them.  A plus is that the pegs mount to a solid steel skid plate which protects the oil filter and cooler, etc.

I just put a Rick Mayers on my 650 V Strom. Love the seat. I tried the OEM gel seat. Was a little better than stock. I also tried the Baldwin gel and it's better than the stock gel. Was going to get the RDL when I came across this deal.
