This is for the Std./Tourer, apparently not a bad deal, check it out. Not affiliated with it, just passing on the info.

i have the Clearview....19 inch model...grey tint...vent in windshield...that was on my bike when wrecked. the "old" shield that was in the wreck was only a little over a year old...it was in MINT condition. i got a new one... replaced via insurance claim, because the old one had ONE place...that got scratched from the wreck.

so...figuring i had nothing to lose...i took VERY fine sandpaper...for finishing work on paint jobs (#2000 if i remember right?)...and i wet sanded the small area with the scratches. Then i used plastic polish. Then i waxed/polished it. And it came out.....MUCH, MUCH better than i would ever have imagined. I think i have some photos i can post.

Here is the bottom line. I have the original box and packing material. I would be willing to let this go to a good home...for any kind of reaonable price. I have a garage FULL of parts for Runes, Valks (even some parts for Road Stars still from back in the day when Sherry had one). I have FOUR other windshields...two for Valks...two for Runes...sitting around. It's not like I need a FIFTH shield sitting around. So i'd listen to any somewhat reasonable offer...................honest...........

is it PERFECT? No. But ...it's perfect except for that ONLY spot where it touched in the crash....and you have to look VERY hard to see that spot now that i sanded it/polished it. I'll post pics...........

ok...here are the pics...including looking RIGHT AT...the damaged area...from inside and out. can you see damage? NO.........only if you knew EXACTLY where to look...........and looked VERY closely..........and then, it would be pretty subtle. I'm telling you, i almost kept this on and just stored the new one i got with the insurance claim..................

If I had some oem hardware to mount it, I'd be interested...my memphis shades on scratches when someone walks by it.
