Here it is.

I am proposing that the person who runs (owns) this website place a Paypal link for donations.  I have been here for about 13 years and because of this website I have never had to have my valk in a shop except for tire changes.  Every question I have ever posted has been answered in a professional manner by many of the fine members here and I know many of you agree.  I am not proposing a membership fee to join or anything like that but just a link to donate (whatever amount they feel is appropriate) when a person feel compelled.

This site owner has certainly earned there keep and site fees and message board software updates can be costly at time.

Just a thought.

Agree, this is a first rate board with first rate team running it.  It's a good idea.

Thank you for the suggestion.  It has been considered and discussed.  It will likely be considered and discussed again.

If you build it, they($) will come. Wink

Great idea cooldude  This site has saved me so much money, time and headache, I would gladly donate to help keep it going, if that's when or what it takes.

I'm NOT the admin, this is just my opinion, but... If they don't put up a donate button, few things you can still do:

Attend Inzane (SO wish I could... Sad )
Buy from sponsors, and tell the sponsors why you're buying from them
If you have knowledge and experience, share it with others, pay the help forward.

Simple things really help a lot in keeping a site like this one going. (Once again, I'm NOT an admin here, just speaking as an admin of a totally different hobby forum/club)

Don't know when I'll ever get the time to hit Inzane, but I hope to before I give up riding.  I don't seem to need any thing from any of the sponsers at this time.

I wouldn't pay a "dues" thing, but I wouldn't mind making a "donation" from time to time.

My life without this board would not be the same and I would like to help make sure it continues for as long as we ride our ladies.

I'm sure/hope the operators will let us know, if the time comes that we NEED to chip in.

This board rocks!

Donations are a tricky business, that could get us in trouble with the IRS.

Now, if we were to offer say a VRCC key chain or something (that would cost a buck or two to make), and then sell them for say $25... there's no law against 2500% mark up.

Anyone want a key chain?
