brake and tail light spoiler

 Ordered the motor55 spoiler. The black wing is beautiful but I did not realize the leds only had two wires. I had hoped for brake and running lights. Anyone found a way to do this. Have not tried the light yet to see how bright the lights are. Any way to replace the led strip for a different one, or convert to run brake lights.  Thanks

With a resistor and a couple of diodes you can turn that 2 wire strip into a tail/brake light, but here's my theory (and PAVALKER's too):

When light comes from somewhere there wasn't light on the back of a vehicle, it may grab someone's attention moreso than a brighter light were there was already light.

I agree that using as a brake only is better. I did the Motor 55 that way and was very pleased the way it came out.

I probably agree with you and kind of thought that way when I slept on it, just wanted more light all the time. Thought about making the light rapid flash during braking, but dont know. Constantly thinking of how to better customize the bike for my personal taste. Thank you for all responses, great forum, I utilize it all the time.
