Having already fitted steel lines and overhauled all calipers (new pistons and seals), I just fitted master cyl. repair kits (last bit of old system to be overhauled) and EBC contour rotors to the front. New EBC HH pads all round.

Initial bite from the front is good, and lever seems firmer, but coming out of the workshop it took longer than original set up to pull up to absolute stop.

I guess this is about having fresh pads and them needing to bed in, so I won;t judge yet. Only done 40 miles on it now, and seems to take a a lot of lever pressure to stop (about the same as OE). Shocked

Jury's out so far on this mod...but I have hopes that this will improve things enough not to have to go any further (I ride fast, 2 up so need good brakes)... Guess I just have to wait and see... ???

Next step is Pre-tech calipers... hope I don;t have to go that far. Undecided

I've also booked myself on a refresher advanced riding course as I suspect that the rider could do with an upgrade too.. 2funny

Pics to follow this weekend...
