Very nice!!!   But blue paint is very heavy and causes a lot of wind drag.  Sorry you can't keep up with black or the even faster red and black!

(love the color)

Congrats!!! You've got half of the fastest Valk colors...although it's a
different shade of blue. Put some creme color in a few spots and no
other stock Valk will be able to keep up!!!!!

Disclaimer...you may not notice a HUGE difference in speed because you're
Valk was black....which, according to Honda and those with experience, is
the SECOND fastest color.

They're not so fast sitting on the bench.   Wink

Actually, the tank is at Jerry's Cycles getting etched and Por 15 treated.  It and all of the other tins are going to be offered up for sale soon.

Thank you for the link to your source for the batwing.  Do you feel the quality is such that you could recomend them for bags and trunk?  Their stuff looks awsome and at unbelievable prices!  (I could have done that emblem trick, but I'm glad you beat me to it  Grin)

Don't think I have a backside pic with me but I'll take a pic of it and post it in the morning. It's mostly done from windshield mounting hardware.

I think the stuff is good.  They was very helpful on the phone and shipped it within 20 minutes when I place'd the order. I called after I ordered and they sent me an email saying it was on the way.  It came in a metallic silver that looked very good.

Nothing comes with it but 4 pre drilled holes. I took two strips of rectangular metal and cut them to line up with the holes. Put them in a vice and twisted slightly to line them up better. I also had to put a bend in them to lay flush with the contour of the fairing. That was done by stepping on them using a block a wood.  Cut 2 small pieces and welded to the windshield bracket. The windshield bracket was modified slightly to bring the fairing closer to the bike. (hack saw and a drill)  The fairing was cut to fit the headlight. It didn't take long after the figuring part was over.  My friend with the red bike in the pic was pretty much the engineer, I was just the welder. Lol
