Just Riding The Many Storms Of Life

Ft.Worth, Texas

« on: June 30, 2012, 06:51:28 AM »

Hey everyone.  I've been back and forth from Kansas, to West, South, and East Texas and everyelse in between.  I don't have a computer in my rig so I haven't been able to update anyone.  I have left 4 or 5 messages with Ol Dude's other half asking about his condition, but so far, she hasn't called back.  I am debating on going by the house and asking, but I don't want to be rude.  I don't want to be more of as a**hole than I already am.  I will post this on both boards.

In this wild and wolly world, there are only 3 things you can depend on, your brains, your bros, and your bike.  Ride free!!!

A good friend will bail you out of jail.  A true friend will be sitting next to saying "Damn, That Was Fun"

Westsider (Paul) posted this on another string but it applies to this one:

"?On another note , I recieved a call yesterday from John Claypools wife.
John suffered the head injury that has left him waiting to be placed in a nursing home to be cared for , very VERY sad, and he has not reconized her for weeks now she said. She seemed very ?  sad is the only word comes to mind....devistated ....just a bad deal..I only met him once to talk about a good going over of his bike and a wrench party on it.
Lets just hope he snaps out of it, and comes around      Keep a vigilant eye riding  the beast , on everyone out there, you never know what a day holds in store for us.   The ins. co. totalled his bike and is going to be auctioned off at salvagedirect.com in Dallas sometime.
Paul."

Prayers for John's recovery.

Prayers that all of you will consider wearing a helmet if you haven't before.
