Michigan Misguided...Benefit Ride and Biker Blessing

....First of all Devon and I can't tell you guys enough how much this club means to us...when I first posted about this Bikers Blessing and Benefit Ride on the Michigan forums board we expected a nice little group to show up and maybe we could raise a little money for Mykaela and her family.....

...well when I got a phone call from Tony Z and we talked about Mykaela... Tony told me he looked up PHACE Syndrome and was devastated at what this horrible disease can do to small children...he told me he would like to get involved and would organize a ride up with the Southeast Chapter folks...

...Well Devon and I where sitting home today getting ready when Tri-City Folks started showing up...Joe and Pam and 15 or so bikes where at the house when Tony and his group from down State arrived...

...We where over whelmed by the great turn out of folks...and we can't thank you enough...we collected $10 per person and even folks that couldn't make the ride donated money thanks Stitch and Scar and Shin head and Brian and also thanks Joan and Dennis ,who once again won the 50/50 drawing and THEY DONATED the money back for Mykaela ....

...as a club we donated $905 that was collected at my house...BUT where we done yet....NO....

...you see when we showed up as one BIG group our folks started buying 50/50 tickets and raffle tickets and just giving from their hearts and sure enough Judy Smalley (I hope thats spelled right) won their 50/50 drawing and you know what she donated their winnings back also....

...now when a group like our Michigan Misguided VRCC...shows up people are taking notice...you know we filled that parking lot and we did our best at doing what we believe is the right thing to do...but what really matters is this little girl...

...some people look at us bikers and see only bad things and are afraid of us because of the leather we wear or way we might look...but they don't see the tears in our eye's when we see something as beautiful as this little 18 month old girl stricken by such a horrible disease....

...I promise you every penny you guys gave is to the best of causes....

...if you look close you will see a smile under that growth...and if you where there you would have heard the laugh's and giggles you hear from any normal 18 month old...

...all in all about $1600+ was raised and I know our folks gave over 3/4's of that...I always knew that this club is made up of the best folks anywhere but time and time again you constantly exceed even my expectations... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
