1998 Black Standard, 76,689 miles.
With all the talk about rear wheel dampers and final drives.  I though I should have a look after 3,500 miles.

I would post pics but the photostash won’t let me in with my user & pass, the same as the VRCC user and pass right?  Any ideas?

Anyway,
Splines look great and Gary’s dampers of 3 years and 38K are holding strong.
Do need to replace the shock bushings though, not terribly bad yet but they are showing wear.

Have I read on here that the VTX shock bushings are a sufficiant replacement?
If so how which VTX models would I look under and where?
Safe travels Greggh

gregg on photobucket move your cursor over your uploaded pic and then click on "IMG Code" at the bottom and it will copy the link to your pic and then you can just paste it into your post.  You can post a smaller version of your pics to photobucket if it is too large.

like this
