We’re riding to Carlos to Yankee’s Tavern, Sunday June 14. We’ll be going to Cracker Barrel in Katy for a bite to eat at 8:00 AM. KSU 9:15 AM…tanks full, bladders empty. We’ll be going out Hwy 290 then to scenic FM 3090. It’s a fantastic ride and open to all.  Hope to see y’all there!

Ya can't get so antsy on a day when there was "not a single post".  (:

We'll make it if we can find someone to watch the short blonde.  That is definitely a good ride, I want to make it again, so we'll do our best.

I can't make it on that day, but the location looks like a great destination for a Houston/DFW meetup in the future.

What do you think?

If we all plan on going to see the Fightin' Texas Aggies play this fall, Carlos is pretty close to College Station.

I have never been to Yankee's Tavern, but I do hear tale of a parking sign on the premises that says something to the effect of "Harleys Only" Shocked...I want to park there!Roll Eyes

I guess I never noticed that sign. Rog  rode his Valk and our friend rode his VTX there. There's all kinds of bikes there. It's really a great place with AWESOME burgers and the best chili I've ever had!

I think we should "replace" the sign.... LOL..... I'll get a Valkyrie sign. I think we should even take pics and post them!!!!!

I just ordered a sign for Rog that says "Parking for Daddy's Bad A$$ Valkyrie ONLY" . I'm gonna hang one up there. Check back for pics June 15th!

Last time we went, the lot was so crowded that you couldn't get close enough to that sign to make it worthwhile.

If it's Harleys only, does that mean the parking lot is oil covered with lots of spare parts around to mess up our tires?   Grin

So meet in Katy @ 8AM.  Return would probably be ~3 PM?  (gotta have something to tell the babysitter, if I can find one...)

Leaving our place we had 6 bikes headed to the Cracker Barrell.  It was a little Harley heavy -- 1 valk, 1 VTX, and 4 HDs.  We met up with 5 more bikes at Cracker Barrell -- 4 Valks, 1 ST?.  So, 11 bikes on to Yankees.  Great group.  Great ride.
